I can't believe Cami is 4. It seems like yesterday that she was Carsyn's size. I kept asking her what kind of birthday she wanted. She insisted it be at our house, with the water slide, and her friends. At first she wanted a fairy birthday but she wanted a 'certain kind of fairy' and it was impossible to find. So, her next choice was Hello Kitty. Thanks to Pinterest, there were lots of ideas! We had her party the first weekend in June so we could (get it out of the way) before B left at the end of the month.
I chose the easy route and had her favorite foods. Spicy chips (aka Doritos), strawberries and grapes, and pizza.
Fast forward to her ACTUAL birthday. We woke her up (Mommy singing, of course) and had donuts for breakfast (thanks to Ms. Kristy). She opened her gifts from Callie. We got her a new bike the day before. We went to Toys R Us and let her pick it out.
After preschool, we went to Walden Pond with Auntie H, Kaden, and Asher.
After the pond, we stopped at Bedford Farms for some ice cream. She fell asleep on the way home and B carried her in. We all ended up taking a nice long nap!
After that we met The Julseths at Firebox BBQ for dinner. Cami's choice... and after dinner we met the neighbors at our house for cake. My friend Rebecca copied a picture of a cake that Cami loved (Pinterest). It was amazing...looks and taste!
She had a great birthday and I loved celebrating our 'middle child'. She definitely has a mind of her own. She marches to her own beat and does what she wants to do. She's going to be trouble ;) She doesn't meet a stranger and has her own personality and ideas and style. She is so easy going and doesn't really care about anything. She does what she wants to do and will deal with the repercussions later. I don't know what we would do without this little spitfire/tomboy in our lives! LOVE this spunky girl so much!
