I don't really have anything to say about this post. We were fortunate to have B's Mom and his grandmother staying with us before he left. These photos were taken just before we left for the airport. B and I went to the airport together and I was able to sit with him until he boarded. Yes, I was that girl crying uncontrollably from the time we parked until the time he left me. I was surprised at how many people came to him and thanked him for his service and sacrifice. Some were veterans and some just ordinary people who appreciate the military and what they do. Words cannot describe how it felt watching B walk down the jetway, knowing I wouldn't see him or hold him again for 6 LONG months.
